04/15/2008: "Stock harness coming out /Gyári kábel köteg költözik kifelé"
Before I would start to install BS3 I want to clear out both the interior and the engine bay of the unnecessary harnesses and hardwares. The stock main harness and the ECM came out together with the Ostrich and data logging setup. Also I've removed the TechEdge WB O2 setup, since the BS3 has its own. It was a good feeling to get rid of the old harness, it was far from its best shape. On the other hand this harness included some functions, which the BS3 unit doesn't cover. These are the hot wire to the starter solenoid, four wires for driving the wiper motor and two wires for regulating the generator. I have to take care of these functions separately.
Mielőtt a BigStuff3 telepítésébe bele vágnék ki szeretném takarítani az immáron feleslegessé vált elektronikai komponeneseket mind a motor térből, mind a belső térből. Így szép sorjában kikerűlt a gyári vezérlés és a hozzá tartozó kábel köteg, a TechEdge féle széles sávú lambda szonda cucc ill. az online progizást és logolás lehetővé tévő Ostrich setup. A gyári kábel köteg azoban magában foglalt néhány olyan funkciót is, amelyek nem pótlódnak a BigStuff féle kábelezéssel. Ezek az inditó motor reléjéhez vezető kábel, az ablak törlő motor vezérlő kábelek és a generátór töltését vezérlő kábelek. Ezeket külön kell majd pótolnom.
