10/24/2007: "The last race of 2007"

Since my Sy hasn't been ready for the last race, my friend Viktor suggested to earn some championship points in order to win the annual trophy. Viktor car's is a Pontiac T/A, 5.7 turbo aspirated with a PT88. Sounds good, isn't it? However it's a manual with a tranny bleeding from several wounds. Also we were running on bald M/T drag radials, so traction was none. Anyway after a few test runs I could run 12.4@126mph. Viktor went 11.9@128mph. BTW, this mph was there not much after the 1000ft, hit the limiter and we had no 5th gear. I said. The tranny is over it's best days. Anyway I finished fourth and could get enough point to win the championship.

Eljött az utolsó verseny és a Sy nem volt hadra fogható. Viktor barátom sietett a segítségemre, felajánlva, hogy versenyezzek a turbo T/A-val. A jármű nagyon erős, de nagyon kezelhetetlen is. Igencsak kopott M/T drag radial gumcák és egy botrányos válto. Pl nincs 5. fokozat, így egy jobb futam 350-től 4-es limiteren a célig. Nekem néhány futam után 12.4@203 sikerült vele, míg Viktor képes volt egy 11.9@206-ra is. Végül az elődöntőben egy lyukra húzott 4-es miatt Kohári Zoli Brabus mercije ellen estem ki. Bántott a dolog, de a szerzett pontok így is elegendőek, hogy az év végi elszámolásban a kategóriám élén végezzek.
