06/27/2006: "4l80e tranny arrived / 4l80e váltó megérkezett"
My George Blake 4L80E tranny arrived together with PI 3 clutch lockup converter and Jeff's crossmember. It's beautifull, and has all the good parts in it:
Billet input shaft, main shaft, hub
BW high energy clutches
Gen2 clutches in overrun and 4th
turbulator steels in overrun and 4th
rebuild gaskets and filter
new electronics
transgo HD2, separator plate, and heat ring kit
all bushings, thrust washers, and torringtons
output shaft machining
34 element forward sprag, low roller sprag, OD sprag
HD lugged rear band
wide front band with new servo setup
cryo of planetaries and output shaft
I still have an eletronics and two new driveshaft to be able to put this in. Hopefully this will happen later this summer. I'd like to say a huge thank you to George for the outstanding service, which he provided me during this transaciton.
Megérkezett. Talán a legjobb GM alapokból épített váltó amiből ki lehet indulni, gyakorlatilag minden földi jóval megépítve amivel csak lehet. Szintén négy sebességes mint a jelenleg használt 700r4, de már elktronikusan vezérelt (így majd kell hozzá egy külön elektronika is) ill. lényegesen erősebb, 1200 lóerő környékéig elvileg terhelhető. Mivel a hossza is más mint a korábbi vátonak, ezért mindkét kardán tengely is cserére szorul majd, mint ahogy a váltó kereszttartója is ami szintén megérkezett. Remélem hamarosan megjönnek a kardánok is és még a nyáron beépítésre kerül majd ez a rossz fiu. Természetesen riportolok még ahogy megy majd előre a dolog beszámolok még róla...
