Racing 2001

I've not started this year, but followed the results of the events at Hungaroring and at Rabaring. The five best times at HR were:
  1. 00:08:441 Evo VI 'PINTER LÃZSLO' HJC694
  2. 00:08:521 C5 Vette 'BIRO GÏZA' XXX001
  3. 00:08:526 Evo VI 'TOTH TIBI' HIJ464
  4. 00:08:588 Evo VI 'PINTER LÃZSLO' HJC694
  5. 00:08:588 Evo VI 'TOTH TIBI' HIJ464
There were only a fourth car (an Audi) whole year which could break into 8s beside the above. Hopefully I'll get some more information on them soon. AFAIK at this point of time the Evo's are almost stock, while the Vette was running slicks and said to be spraying. It should be faster... We will see. This could be manageable, but I don't want to say any more till the first race on 9th of April. At Rabaring the main players were the same with some additional users n Corvettes from Austria. There was a Hungarian Firebird going 7.5's several times. One comment here. Compared to the chaos at HR the race at Rabaring is quite nice. The first good point, that's on Sunday's, so you can race at daylight. Second, there is a much better organization behind these events. Third, they measured trap speeds too. Fourth, the usual rice don't go there.

This year I had no oportunities to race on the street, so my first street race is still waiting for me.
