Site News in 2002
- 2002-10-28 A little update on my performance page.
- 2002-10-27 That's it. This year's racing season is over. The last race was at the Hungaroring last Thuesday. I could win and with this last victory I won my category point race too. I closed a really succesfull racing season this year and would like to say thank you to everyone who helped me to achive these results. I really appreciate your help. Ildi, Dad, Jozsi, Janos, Visi, Zolika, Bandi and a bunch of others. THANK YOU! The racing is over till next spring but you will see a lot of updates during the winter. I'd like to be faster next year, which requires a bunch of works around the truck. I'm also panning to update the site, add a few new sections, so stay tuned. Till then check the racing page.

- 2002-10-03 I was racing again. This time at Rabaring. It was great. I was hoping for a 12 sec timeslip, which I couldn't get finally, but I'm happy with my result. I've only made three passes, one not so good and two, which I was happy with. The best pass was 13.022@99 mph, with an 1.76 short time and 8.12@82.6 mph at the 1/8th mile mark. I could back this pass up with an almost identical one. This was the last chance this year to get an official 1/4th mile time, so I'm glad that I could be there. I've one more race at Hring this year after it I will store the Sy and start to work on it to make it faster next year. More detail on the race on my racing page. Video page is still not there, but working on it.
- 2002-09-29 I was racing this Thuesday again at Hungaroring and I could win again. It was, well, a really interesting night. Not just because the slippery track conditions and slight rain, but because I was in one of my worst form ever. Will give full coverage in a few days on my racing page. Also I'm working on my video page, will shoot it up in a few days.
- 2002-09-27 I took the Sy to a scale at a local lumberyard. It was 1700 kg with me in it and with full tank. It's ~3750 lbs. Good to know...
- 2002-09-08 A few new words and a picture about my new steering wheel on my detailing page. A few new pictures have gone up into my tools page too.
- 2002-09-02 Put up a new link into my links section. Also put up Ave's G-meter results into my performance page.
- 2002-09-01 I could install my aluminum drums last weekend so I put up a brake section on my suspension page. Also updated my history/plan page.
- 2002-08-29 I was racing this Thuesday at Hungaroring and I managed to win my category.Check my racing page for the details. Thanks gsi.hu for the pictures.
- 2002-08-24 Again I had good run, you can check it out on my performance page.
- 2002-08-10 Again add a few things to my engine page. Also managed to do a good run, you can check it out on my performance page. I haven't done anything with the heads yet, but installed my new tranny cooler. It's a Hayden 1404 and gives me 20 F lower readings on my tranny oil temp gauge. Will do an update soon...
- 2002-08-01 I made a few changes again. I have a new intake, which required the relocation of the battery. Also add a few things to my engine page. Installed my fuel pump hot-wire kit too.A few stuff came in for future projects as well. Most important I got my L35's heads and start to collect all the godies to a decent head project. Also I'm just installing a larger tranny cooler. Will do an update soon enough.
- 2002-07-13 Made a new run, which brought some improvement, check it out.
- 2002-07-11 Just put up a little page about the WB O2 stuff. Check it out!
- 2002-07-07 Made a few updates. You can find a few words and pictures about my new exhaust here. Also updated my history page with a few new plans. You can also find a few new words on my engine management page. Beside these keep focused, because my wide band O2 page is almost finished.
- 2002-07-01 The past week was quite a productive one around the truck. New exhaust in place, tested. WB O2 hooked up, made the first test with it. Also get a licesnse for the next two years. I gonna cover all this stuff (well, not the licensing ;-) this week, so stay tunned.
- 2002-06-19 Inspired by a thread on syty.net I just put up a little EGR howto on my intake and exhaust page
- 2002-06-13 Still no exhaust, so I missed Hring again. Grrr. It must be finished next week, I wanna go to Rring on the 23th
- 2002-05-31 Just finished a three days work on the truck. Removed the bed, cleaned and repainted the frame, crossmembers, rearend etc. Also changed the fluid in the differential and put up my new chrome diff cover from ATR. Also removed the fuel pump, replaced all the O-rings on the fuel lines and replaced the pulsator with a piece of high pressure rubber line. I've also replaced the full exhaust, hopfully will get the new one in a few days. It was quite a work. I've updated a few pages to reflect the changes.

- 2002-04-25 Just made a small a publicity for the site.
- 2002-04-25 No more broken links. Let's the official site opening ceremony begins. ;-)
- 2002-04-10 Last night I visited the local track. I was kinda slow. Will cover the full story, but till then here is a picture of staging for the semi final.
Yes. You are right. It's a Polski Fiat. And I could barely win. Well. Can I say bolt on mods? ;-)
